I write stories about people caught between the world they know and the forces gathering just beyond it—old gods, buried histories, forgotten powers, and choices that refuse to stay safely in the past.

My books range from what I call Modern Mythological Fantasy to Historical Fantasy, but they share the same concerns: identity, loyalty, memory, survival, and the unexpected forms courage can take. Here you can explore my novels, learn more about the worlds behind them, and follow new books as they take shape.

About

I am a novelist and visual artist whose work lives where myth, history, and ordinary human lives overlap. I write Modern Mythological Fantasy and Historical Fantasy, with stories shaped by old gods, buried memory, identity, loyalty, and the choices people make when the world they understand stops being enough.

My current focus is Out of the Mists, a contemporary fantasy series beginning with Ancient Memory, Apache Moon, and Bard’s Song. I also create much of the artwork connected with my novels.

Whether I am writing, sculpting, or designing an image, I am drawn to the same thing: giving form to people and worlds that feel as though they have been waiting just beyond sight.

Out of the Mists

Out of the Mists is a series of modern mythological fantasy in which the beings remembered as gods, monsters, and heroes were never merely legends. They have lived among humanity for thousands of years, hidden behind forgotten histories, altered memories, and the names later cultures gave them.

The series begins when Chance, a battered former biker with no memory of his life before the desert, discovers that the past pursuing him is far older—and far stranger—than he ever imagined. Around him, ancient powers begin moving again, drawing mortals and immortals alike into conflicts rooted in identity, betrayal, love, and unfinished wars.

Beginning with Ancient Memory and continuing through Apache Moon and Bard’s Song, Out of the Mists brings mythology into the modern world, not as distant legend, but as living memory—dangerous, wounded, and still capable of changing everything.

Ancient Memory

Ancient Memory, the first book in the series, Out of the Mists, begins with Chance, a battered former biker who remembers nothing of his life before he awoke in the desert. He has built a new identity from the fragments left to him, but strange dreams, impossible encounters, and people who seem to know him begin tearing holes in the life he thought was his own.

As forgotten powers emerge from hiding, Chance is drawn into a struggle involving ancient beings who inspired humanity’s myths—and a past that may reach back to the oldest stories of Britain. Beside him is Aine, a young woman whose own connection to that hidden world is deeper and more dangerous than either of them understands.

Ancient Memory is a story of lost identity, buried betrayal, and the question of whether we are defined by what we once were, what others made of us, or what we choose to become.

Apache Moon

In Apache Moon, the second book in the series, Out of the Mists, the hidden world of Out of the Mists reaches into the deserts and mountains of Arizona, where ancient powers have left their mark on the land and old conflicts are beginning to stir again.

Chance’s search for the truth draws him toward Onawah, a mysterious woman whose connection to his forgotten past may be deeper than he expects. Around them, mortals and immortals are pulled toward a mountain where something powerful—and dangerous—has waited for generations.

Apache Moon is a story of memory, healing, and the bonds that survive even when names, bodies, and histories have been lost.

Bard's Song

In Bard’s Song, the second book in the series, Out of the Mists, music becomes a bridge between the modern world and powers buried deep within myth. Gwen, a gifted young singer with an uncertain sense of where she belongs, finds herself drawn toward events she cannot explain and a destiny she never knew she carried.

As dreams, prophecies, and ancient rivalries begin to converge, Chance and those around him must confront forces that do not merely remember the past—they are still trying to shape the future.

Bard’s Song is a story of identity, transformation, and the power of one voice to awaken possibilities that have waited centuries to be heard.
